QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a growing technology team. This role provides the opportunity to shape automation practices, mentor engineers, and help drive innovation through modern testing strategies, including AI-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in test automation best practices.

• Build, expand, and maintain automation frameworks for APIs, microservices, and web applications.

• Lead adoption of advanced automation techniques, including AI-based testing.

• Mentor and support automation engineers across teams.

• Investigate test failures, troubleshoot issues, and improve framework reliability.

• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and reporting dashboards to ensure test visibility.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.

• Strong background in API and web automation.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, RestSharp, SoapUI, JMeter, or LoadRunner.

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.

• Experience with continuous testing and CI/CD integration.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to AI in automation.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., TestRail) and collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence).

• Experience with performance testing and UI automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with mobile, networking, or Angular testing.

• Agile/Kanban delivery experience and ISTQB certification.
